BAR STOOL BUYER'S GUIDE

The following are a few important factors to consider when purchasing your new bar stools at BarstoolSource.com:

1.  Bar Stool Height:  The first thing you should do before beginning to shop for your new bar stools is to measure the counter or table height with which you will be using them.  Measure from the floor to the bottom of the table or counter top.  Next, simply match this measurement with the correct stool size using the diagram below.

2.  Quantity:  Measure the bar or counter with which you will be using your bar stools.  This measurement will determine the correct amount of bar stools that will allow for proper spacing.   Industry standard is generally 26-30 inches between the center of each bar stool seat and 14 inches from the center of the end stool to the end of the counter.

3.  Features:  Our bar stools offer a variety of option.  Use the drop-down boxes at the top of each section to narrow down the selections to find the exact bar stool your looking for.

  • Swivel / Memory Swivel / Non-Swivel
  • Back / No Back
  • Metal / Wood Construction
  • Arms/No-Arms

4.  Will there be a lot of food or drink around your bar stools?  If so, you may want to consider bar stools that offer durable fabrics such as leather, micro-fiber, or vinyl.
